The Big Wedding Day for Chelsea Clinton
July 31, 2010 – 6:28 pmChelsea Clinton is getting married this evening, at 6:00 p.m., July 31st, in Rhinebeck, N.Y. There have been no sightings of Chelsea, but there was a dinner party held at the Beekman Arms where most of the guests of the wedding are staying. Both former President Clinton and Hilary Rodham Clinton were seen leaving the party. Hilary Clinton was seen wearing an elegant, long, flowing green dress. All were smiles and waving to the crowds that had gathered.
Chelsea Clinton is set to marry her long term boyfriend, Marc Mezvinsky, an investment banker. The Clintons have celebrity status in Rhinebeck, and already the crowds are lining up to watch this ‘royal’ event. They all want to catch a glimpse of Chelsea in her wedding dress. But security is tight for the wedding and Chelsea hasn’t been seen anywhere.
The wedding is to be a private family affair and most of the guests look like the friends of the bride and groom and the Clinton family friends. There are a few celebrities attending but the family wants it to be a very private wedding for Chelsea. It is rumoured that Oprah will be attending, but this could be just a rumor and with substance. It is expected that the wedding guest list will reach about 500 guests.
A guessing game as to the total cost of this American royal wedding places price tags on the wedding ranging from $2 to $5 million dollars.
Whatever the cost of Chelsea’s wedding, this is truly going to be a day for the bride and groom.
