Romania’s leads Europe in export- prostitutes

For the past 2 decades, there has been mass migration of eastern bloc individuals into the European Union. The majority of countries like Rumania, Hungary and Bulgaria have had tremendous socio-economic problems at home and this has led mass migration of people to other countries. The visa free travel in Europe has been a boom to the world’s oldest profession.
In the 80s, Russian prostitutes ruled most of Europe and Middle East. Today, it is Rumania who leads the way. Prostitutes are hassled to no end in countries like Rumania and Bulgaria and often are harassed by police.
In countries like Britain and France these prostitutes have the same rights as anyone else and more important can complain to police about harassment.
Several recent surveys from health clinics reveal that the sex industry in Europe has a high number of Russian and Rumania prostitutes. Being a prostitute in France does have benefits – like getting free condoms and entering drug clinics- alas all paid by courtesy of French tax dollars.
In Britain, it is estimated that nearly 30-40,000 women working as prostitutes are from Lithuania, Rumania, Poland or Thailand. In the city of London, more than 75% of prostitutes are foreign.
Fewer than 5 percent of British women work abroad as prostitutes and prefer to go to destinations like Spain, Australia or the Middle East.
There has been no survey from any European country to determine whether the immigrant prostitutes are better than the home grown girls. In any case one theme is common- they all love money.
